This piece explores the genre of still life through the tactile language of felt. Using layered wool and expressive stitching, the work reinterprets familiar forms — vessels, flowers, and fragments — in a state of dynamic flux. Transparent layers of white fibre veil and connect the elements, creating a sense of movement, memory, or distance. The contrast between bold, saturated colours and muted, textured surfaces evokes the tension between presence and absence. Rather than a static arrangement, this still life suggests a living composition shaped by time and recollection.
