From Thread to Thought

Felt-Paintings

Felt collage with concentric circular patchwork in bright greens, blues, and earth tones, spiraling across a warm terracotta background — suggesting movement, memory, and cyclical growth.

In my hands, a thread is never just material—and a brushstroke never just colour. Whether I’m working with wool, silk, ink, or paint, the act of making becomes a form of thinking, a meditative process that bridges emotion, memory, and intuition. My practice unfolds in silence and solitude, where creation becomes an inner dialogue. Often, I find myself praying as I work—not in any formal way, but as a quiet reaching out, a way of anchoring presence and meaning in the process.

This is why I never create in public, and why I choose not to film or share the making itself. My studio is a protected space where I can be fully immersed in the act of becoming. Creation, for me, is a deeply personal ritual—too intimate to be observed, too vulnerable to be exposed to an audience in real time.

In some of my works, I include a subtle spiral—the Eye of God. It’s a mark of connection, a reminder that I am not alone in this process. It stands as a silent witness within the piece, an echo of something greater that moves through me as I create. From thread to brush, from touch to thought, each artwork is a visible trace of this invisible journey.
