I Stood Where My Dreams Could Not Divide Me

Poetic Reflection:

One wing gathers reason,

the other, firelight and fog.

They turn away,

yet never break

two directions

held by one heartbeat.

Inside me,

a sky with no storm,

a ground that does not give way.

I let the wild dreams pass,

I let the real ones weigh.

But neither pulled me apart

they only showed me

how to stay.
